Marla Crawford Invited to Become a Fellow of the College
NEW YORK – March 14, 2024 — Cimplifi, an integrated eDiscovery services and contract analytics provider, announced today that Marla Crawford, general counsel was inducted into the College of Law Practice Management as a Fellow of the College during the Futures Conference: Transformative Networks event held March 12 and 13 in Washington, D.C. at the offices of Sidley Austin, LLP.
The College is a by-invitation group of approximately 300 people who make significant and sustained contributions to the advancement of law practice management. The Fellows come from all corners of the field—law firms, legal service providers, legal departments, not-for-profit services, government, and academia. The Fellows expertise spans the disciplines of technology, operations, finance, knowledge management, innovation, business development, recruiting, and professional development.

Crawford is a respected attorney, strategic advisor, and thought leader who brings over 30 years’ expertise to her role as general counsel. She speaks regularly on legal technology, electronic discovery, and information governance issues. Marla spent 22 years practicing law at the prestigious international firm, Jones Day, specializing in the discovery phase of litigation. She also served as associate general counsel for Goldman Sachs for 11 years where she led the firm’s global eDiscovery practice and focused on complex commercial and securities litigation and regulatory investigations. Marla’s expertise also includes advising on issues relating to information governance as well as the deployment of new technologies. Marla earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University and graduated magna cum laude from Boston University, where she earned her Juris Doctor.
