Experts to Speak on Service Delivery and Technology in eDiscovery and Contract Analytics

NEW YORK – March 2, 2022 — Cimplifi, an integrated eDiscovery services and contract analytics provider, today announced Marla Crawford and Charles Post would be speaking at Future Lawyer Week, a legal innovation event designed for in-house counsels and private practitioners held in New York City on March 14-15, 2022.

Crawford, Cimplifi general counsel, will speak on a panel held on March 15, at 3:05 p.m. EST called, “It’s Not Bragging If It’s True: How Your eDiscovery Solution is Making a Difference in the Way You Deliver Your Services.” Crawford brings over 30 years of client perspective and experience to her role at Cimplifi and will be offering insight and relevant viewpoints on this panel. Crawford will be joined by Elan Hersh, partner, and director of eDiscovery services at Akerman LLP and Sandra Metallo-Barragan, chief, eDiscovery division at the New York City Law Department.

Post, executive vice president of the contract analytics and lifecycle management practice at Cimplifi, will lead a session called, “Believe the Hype: Contract Analytics Work.” Post will share the compelling reasons why you should leverage artificial intelligence and how it can revolutionize your contract processes.  Post’s session will be held on March 15, at 3:50 p.m. EST.

Crawford brings over 30 years of expertise in the practice of law and regularly speaks on legal technology, electronic discovery, and information governance issues. Crawford spent 22 years practicing law at the prestigious international firm Jones Day before serving as associate general counsel for Goldman Sachs for 11 years where she led the firm’s global eDiscovery practice and focused on complex commercial and securities litigation and regulatory investigations. Crawford earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Duke University and graduated magna cum laude from Boston University, where she earned her Juris Doctor.  She also founded and serves as chairperson of the Cimplifi diversity and inclusion committee.

Post is a frequent speaker, moderator, and author for a host of financial services industry forums and publications. He co-founded and launched the Risk Management Association’s (RMA) Financial Technology and Automation Committee and is a legal tech authority on utilizing emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence and machine learning to tackle the legal industry’s most complex contract data issues. Post’s unique experience is anchored in advising businesses on practically implementing contract analytics and contract lifecycle management projects and standing up digital capabilities including other technologies such as blockchain, and smart contracts. Post received his bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University and earned a Juris Doctor from New York Law School.
